Ms. Johnson and the Class of 2023 have outdone themselves with their very own handmade crankie!  Never heard of a crankie?  Well, you're in for a treat! Mr. Johnson has painstakingly crafted the crankie frame entirely from reclaimed items, including barn wood, corrugated metal, wood from Linden's bridge, an old leather belt, a cork, and a gear shift. This handmade frame alone is a work of art!

Ms. Johnson's students have worked together to beautifully illustrate the fables of "The Tortoise and the Hare" and "The Fox and the Crow" on a continuous scroll, with each child bringing their individual and class' collective imagination to life on durable, heavy paper that will last for years.
